We invite you to join or customize a travel itinerary from north to south of Italy – or back – enhancing food and wine daily excursions, slowing down around mealtime, enjoying the conviviality of cooking classes.We book selected Hotel/B&B/HomeRentals on request. DAY 1 From Milan and any other north east Italian towns we pick you up at your place and take you to the wine transfer tour. First stop at Rio Maggiore (5 Terre) or at Carrara to experience the lunch tasting at an heroic grape growing winery on the terraced hills over the azure waters of the Ligurian Sea. We continue southbound, captured by the blinding white of the celebrated marble on the Apuan Alps. Second stop for coffee and gelato and a brief visit to a marble atelier gallery in the cozy Pietrasanta or at Puccini’s summer house by the lake of Torre Del Lago. We move to your hotel/villa/agritourism between Lucca and Pisa for one night stay before dinner. DAY 2 After breakfast we take you to a walking/biking sightseeing tour of Lucca magnifi cent center. We ride or walk on the wall ring, then explore the amazing squares of San Martino, San Michele, Napoleone, Anfi teatro, San Frediano. We stock up of local specialties and have a lovely picnic lunch on a “baluardo” greenery area – or at Caffè Colombano if raining – and start our holistic organic tour with our personal coach. We travel to Mount Albano and get in contact with open mind wine makers, their organic wine experience and the Carmignano wines. We transfer to your hotel/villa/house-rental in Florence town or surrounding county for one night stay before dinner. DAY 3 After breakfast we take you to a walking art, craft & food tour in Florence. We visit the amazing Santa Croce square and church, the traditional leather school next door, have some free time to stroll around the fl ea market of antiques, tiny hand-craft shops and St. Ambrogio food market, where we have some picks of delights for lunch. We stop to Piazzale Michelangelo enjoy the stunning view to Florence roofs, take some time to visit San Miniato a Monte church and celebrity cemetery. We travel to San Gimignano/Siena hotel/villa/house-rental, check-in, time to relax. For dinner we experience a full meal cooking class of local specialties. DAY 4 After breakfast we drive to Volterra through an unusual landscape, bald rolling hills, lush green grassy mantle, precious uncontaminated pastures for the local sheep milk cheese Pecorino. We stop on the way to enjoy the visit to an organic dairy and a light lunch of delicious cheese specialties. We reach Volterra and start to explore the town at slow pace, back in time of 3000 years, we discover the Etruscan and Roman archaeological sites, then walk through the medieval stronghold enjoying the timeless atmosphere of today, amongst the many ateliers whitened by the dust of alabaster’s sculptures. Transfer back to your place in San Gimignano/ Siena before dinner. DAY 5 We pick you up after breakfast and leave for the Supertuscan Archi-star wine transfer to the amazing Argentario peninsula (Grosseto surrounding area). Our fi rst stop at the sward in the rock small chapel, and the huge roofl ess church of San Galgano, Christian temple of dramatic beauty. Our second stop for a sightseeing tour of Massa Marittima medieval city, and stock up of local specialties for today’s picnic lunch by the lake below. Some relaxing time to swim in its blue waters, then move to a modern wine temple designed by a famous Italian architect to taste famous wines. We forward to the Argentario Peninsula and check-in at your hotel/villa/ house-rental before dinner. DAY 6 After breakfast we take you to the wine transfer to Rome. We start with a tour around the Argentario Peninsula, then stop at Orbetello Laguna for some beautiful pictures. We reach a popular farm community of the Maremma region, visit the farm-winery and enjoy a pristine lunch in pairs with their Doc wines. We travel inland and stop either to visit Pititgliano, medieval city perched on tufa cliffs and dramatically beautiful with its intact Jewish Ghetto, or to the magical Orvieto, and its masterpieces of ancient art and architecture, the Cathedral
